Marcangelo's 2010 release "Witch & Wizard" has been accepted for submission for the GRAMMYs. The recording industry's most prestigious award, the GRAMMY, is presented annually by The Recording Academy. A GRAMMY is awarded by The Recording Academy's voting membership to honor excellence in the recording arts and sciences. It is truly a peer honor, awarded by and to artists and technical professionals for artistic or technical achievement, not sales or chart positions. The annual GRAMMY Awards presentation brings together thousands of creative and technical professionals in the recording industry from all over the world. "THE BLACK PLAGUE" CD PUSHED BACK TO BE RELEASED IN 2012 Outside of performing with his band, Marcangelo has been in the studio recording the tracks for his upcoming "progressive rock" CD entitled "The Black Death". A full 1 hour CD, this recording will feature 4 cuts that he is currently performing with his band this summer (Warrior, Phantom Ships, Bleed for You and Amnytas) and will also include a "synthestral" recording of the title track. "THORN" From Marcangelo: "I am excited to say that my next major project in the studio will be "THORN". My wife Char is working out the outline and story and I am hoping for a release sometime next summer. I have been sketching and doodling for some time now on this project. It's now time to put it all together." "MICHAEL SORO and MARCANGELO PERRICELLI PROJECT" Michael Soro and Marcangelo are planning a 4 song EP to be released sometime this year. The plan is to write and record some ambient and instrumental works for piano and guitar and depending maybe a taste of orchestral sweetening and percussion. Michael and Marcangelo last played together in 2003 in the band Navigator which has disbanded since and look forward to making some great music together in the future.
